Uadd Sweden AB General Conditions regarding the Hack Rides platform

This document contains the general terms and conditions (terms) that apply to all services provided by Hack Rides through the limited company Uadd Sverige AB 559278-8078, referred to as Uadd. In this document, we, our, us, or Hack Rides refers to Uadd, and you, your, or the customer refers to our customers.

You can contact us at

By registering an account and using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to the terms, you cannot create an account or use the service.

We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. To continue using our service, you must agree to any changes in the terms. The version of the contract that applies is the one in effect at the time you placed your travel order.

To access the service, you need to create an account. Transferring the account to someone else is not allowed. Once you have created an account and made any necessary advance payments, the service will be available and ready to use or order as instructed on the website and the app.

We provide smart taxi services designed in collaboration with drivers, with a focus on sustainability. More information about the service is available on the website and in the app.

When you order a taxi on one of our platforms, we will search for a taxi driver in our digital system among our connected drivers. The taxi driver decides for themselves whether they are interested in driving you between the selected starting position and the selected destination.
We collect information to determine your location, including GPS information, IP address, and Wi-Fi data. This helps us provide the best transport option at the best price for you and allows the driver to optimize the fastest and most efficient route for your transportation.
Your exact location helps us determine the pickup address, calculate a fixed price, and provide status updates. This information is collected with the consent of both drivers and passengers, as stated in our agreement.

Carpooling allows the driver, with your approval, to pick up one or more passengers during your ongoing transport. Travelers who participate in carpooling enjoy a significant price reduction.
When you agree to carpooling, you acknowledge that the journey may be longer and take more time compared to traveling alone in the taxi. You can easily activate or deactivate the Hop on service in the app, where you can also view the price for traveling alone or the price for carpooling if another customer is added to your route.

Booking a Shared trip means that our service searches for another taxi customer with a pick-up or destination address near you. If a suitable customer is found, our platform generates a request for taxi drivers in the area. If a driver accepts the shared journey, both you and the other customer must confirm the booking of the driver and the car. Once you accept a shared trip, it becomes binding and cannot be canceled
As a customer looking for a shared trip, you should be aware that the waiting time to find a driver may be longer and the journey may take longer than if you were alone in the taxi.

Once a driver has accepted your shared trip, cancellation is not possible.

Booking for another taxi customer means that you are responsible for ordering, booking, and paying for another taxi customer. You can choose the pick-up location and destination, and the system will search for available drivers nearby. Once a driver has accepted your booking, you confirm it.

We store your GPS coordinates from the time a driver accepts your booked journey until you confirm that you are in the car. This is done to provide the driver with your position when you ordered the trip. This data is deleted after 4 weeks.

As a customer, you must comply with national legislation. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to purchase the service or use the features, unless authorized by your legal guardian.
If you register an account and use the service on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to enter into these terms and use all features on behalf of that legal entity. If you are a business customer, these terms constitute the entire agreement between us.

If you provide incorrect, inaccurate, out-of-date, or incomplete information when creating your account, we have the right to refuse your order and close your account, even if you do not comply with our general terms and conditions.

As a user of Hack Ride's services, you are responsible for your conduct in the vehicle provided for the service. Any damage or litter in the vehicle is your responsibility if you ordered the trip. The driver has the right to charge you for cleaning the car if necessary.

The driver has the right to refuse a customer to travel with them if the customer's behavior is inappropriate, such as drunkenness or violent behavior. Hack Rides disclaims responsibility for the driver's decision regarding the customer's ability to travel.

All information relating to the customer is deleted upon their active de-registration from Hack Ride's platform issued by Uadd, except for the information that must legally be stored for seven years regarding Uadd's accounting obligation.
The driver must have the GPS function in the app activated, but the customer can choose to turn off the function in their app. The customer will then have to enter the address for collection manually. If the customer chooses to have their GPS function activated, the pick-up address can be automatically registered and the driver can see the customer's position.

It is clearly stated in the platform used, at which stage a cancellation is associated with a fee and how much a cancellation costs.
In circumstances where Hack Ride's services are not compatible with what has been promised, there is the possibility of a refund.
Contact our support in the app or via the website to raise the issue. After our evaluation, we will return and report whether a refund can be made or not.
